How to reduce the chance of your cat
getting lost again:
-
Have a microchip inserted in the scruff of your cat's
neck (costs £20 - £30: ask your vet for details or look out for
local RSPCA events where we only charge £12.50); which
automatically registers your details with PetLog (08706
066751; www.petlog.org.uk).
-
Buy an elasticated collar, with a disk engraved with
your phone number. Some owners worry about cats getting the collar
caught on branches, but a cat is far more likely to stray than to get
its collar caught on a twig.
